The GB ethos

Gringley Bespoke is all about working with your budget and getting the best for your money but we also champion design practices that are better for the environment and use biophilic design principles to make spaces that are healthier and more aesthetically pleasing to boot!

  • Biophilic design

In a nut shell this is the practice of linking humans to nature in interior spaces. It’s not just throwing in a few house plants that your not confident you won’t kill in the first week (Note - I’ll help you pick the right ones for your space and your plant skills!) It’s more than that - maybe it’s natural finishes or using the colour of your favourite flowers on your walls, perhaps just letting in as much light as possible…or all three! I have loads of tricks up my sleeve to make your space as beautiful as possible and make you calmer and healthier when you’re in it too!

  • Environmentally conscious design

Where ever possible we will reuse and recycle as many of the pieces you already own - reducing your need to buy new and lowering the carbon footprint of your project (not to mention helping the budget!) I’ll source items that align with the GB ethos too - it could be locally sourced, British made by a small business or perhaps it’s items made from lower impact materials… there are so many ways to improve what we do and help the planet. I’ll even plant a tree every time I send you an invoice!

Biophilic principles and the GB take on environmentally conscious design…

These are the things that are at the core of what makes Gringley Bespoke a little bit different, I’m always happy to help and discuss options that are right for you and your project - just ask!
